I have a little shop on Facebook called Stitched by Sara. My customers started out being just family and friends, but it’s slowly branching out to include friends of friends. I even have people following me that I don’t know. That’s pretty exciting in my book!
Being a stay-at-home Mom is awesome. Like, super awesome. But I thought a bit of play money for clothes, shoes, YARN, or camera supplies would be nice so I started a shop and hoped for the best.
The orders have trickled in at a slow, easily managed pace and it’s allowed me to buy my sweet Hubby extra Christmas gifts (which he totally deserves). 😊. I’ve also been able to get gift knitting done at the same time and have finished everything with a week to spare.
My latest order was completed earlier this week. It’s the Little Prince Loafers from The Lovely Crow. I heartily recommend her patterns!
I knit up the 0/3 month size for a brand new little princess who just made her grand entrance into the world a couple of weeks ago.
It’s Raveled HERE.

I’m still knitting. I even have a drafted post about a bunch of projects that have been recently finished. I haven’t gotten the pictures from the camera to the computer to Flickr to this blog. That would require a decent chunk of time… and most of my free time comes in delicious little bites, not an over the top feast.
Anyways… I do have time to upload this picture from my phone and write about it.
(This one obviously needs some finishing to hide those raw edges in the middle.)
Thanks to Claire from the blog Mollie and Claire, I discovered kanzashi flowers and the nifty little template/jig thing manufactured by Clover* that makes them super easy to sew up. I loooove these things. I’ve been playing around with them during naptime the past two days. It’s practically instant gratification and now I want more styles and sizes. 😃
* I got mine on Amazon for about $5.
